case study

small business website development

Metro Installation is a family-owned furniture installation contract company in Chantilly, Virginia. Lacking any web presence aside from a Facebook page, the company needed a new website to show their services and team and gain new business. Our friends at Fairfax Pilates, another small business in Virginia, referred ruef Design to Metro Installation. Building small business websites just happens to be a passion of the ruef team.

our process

ruef met with the Metro team via Zoom to hear more about the project goals and needs. The company had just gone through a rebranding process, and wanted a new website to highlight this new brand. Because the company had no previous website, the only content the company had is a large collection of testimonials. Metro leadership enlisted the help of internal staff to create more content, and ruef communications experts helped with strategy, messaging, and copy development. ruef web developers built the small business website on a custom WordPress platform.

The new website launched in early January 2021. The client was provided with Editor-level access to the site, and a training session so they could add new project photos and make site changes easily.
