challenge
Ahaus, a tooling and engineering company specializing in industrial automation, needed both a new trade show showpiece as well as print marketing materials that would focus on the messaging campaign, “Built for Good,” an initial concept Ahaus created for ruef to further develop and integrate into future design and media strategies.
process
ruef designers developed three 8′ tall banner stand concepts that would incorporate the “Build for Good” message and the company’s core services, automation and workholding. The idea behind the design layout was that all three banners could be used at once, making a backdrop or For the postcard, the ruef design team decided to lay out the content in a unique fashion: a square (7″ x 7″) design intended for a thick, semi-glossy cardstock. This made the postcard much more memorable and substantial – something that might stand out in a stack at the end of the show.
results
After Ahaus provided feedback and changes, the designs were approved by Ahaus and ready to print. The banner stands and the postcards were printed locally by ruef‘s trusted printing partners and shipped directly to the client in Richmond, Indiana.
