Planes Global Moving Services, a transportation and logistics company specializing in global moves for individuals and companies, were attending the 2019 International Association of Movers Conference in Chicago, and were in need of marketing materials to help them stand out in the crowd. They knew they wanted a banner/backdrop for their booth, and something unique and full of information visitors could take away with them.

ruef designers developed a 9′ tall banner stand concept that would incorporate the Planes’ iconic slant design. For the postcard, the ruef design team decided to lay out the content in a unique fashion: a square (7″ x 7″) design intended for a thick, semi-glossy cardstock. This made the postcard much more memorable and substantial – something that might stand out in a stack at the end of the show.
results
The banner stand was printed locally by one of ruef‘s trusted printing partners and shipped directly to the trade show’s staging warehouse. The postcards were shipped to the Planes representatives at their West Chester, Ohio, offices. The banner and the postcard were both a hit at the trade show, and Planes was happy with the result.
