Bush Specialty Vehicles designs and upfits mobile service vans and trucks for mobile service providers, first responders, food and beverage industry, and other specialty applications across the U.S. Their custom builds equip teams to perform a wide range of on-site work with professional, purpose-built interiors and integrated power, production, and safety systems.
Bush needed succinct, high-impact video content to help automotive service providers, many of whom are completely new to the concept of mobile service, understand not only the benefits, but the true scope of what’s possible inside a Bush van. For prospects considering a big operational shift, clarity matters: what can the vehicle actually do, what comes in a Bush build, and how does it all work in the real world?
The initial goal was to produce marketing-ready videos that could work across web, sales, events, and social. After those assets proved valuable in sales conversations, we returned for additional shoots to expand Bush’s library into a broader portfolio of explainers and marketing videos, designed to demystify the build, reduce uncertainty, and help new prospects feel confident stepping into this uncharted territory.

ruef architected the engagement around tightly planned shoots designed to expand into a cohesive video series. Pre-production unified the creative and shot list so we could capture dual-use footage efficiently. Across two focused days, we covered indoor/outdoor locations, drone and moving-vehicle shots, and a mix of interviews and scripted segments, delivering distinct stories with a consistent, polished visual language.
The first video followed a dealership’s mobile service program using Bush-outfitted EVs, highlighting workflow, technician perspective, and customer convenience. The second showcased a large specialty van, spotlighting the configurability and sophistication of Bush’s upfit with features like storage, tools, integrated power, and advanced service systems. As the series grew, we shifted deeper into education, demystifying how a standard van becomes a purpose-built mobile platform and giving new prospects the clarity they need to move forward with confidence.
