challenge
GWS, a company specializing in large-scale relocations, intra-campus moves, and move management, needed a new marketing video that could outline the company’s propriety technology. The tech, called “LINK,” is a bit of a trade secret, so the video had to show the applications of the technology without giving away the horse with the cart.
process
ruef created a brand and logo for LINK and worked directly together to develop a script and concept for the video, while the video editors and motion graphics artists began collecting assets, creating animated logo stingers and motion graphics. Because the technology in question could not be fully detailed, a “feeling” was created for the video to allude to the capabilities and benefits of the tech, showing it in a modern, stylized manner. A professional female voiceover talent was brought in to record the script, elevating the video considerably.
results
After a few rounds of changes and client feedback, the marketing video was ready to be shared with the world. The video is currently used by the GWS sales teams to send to prospects and include in presentations, but the video is also the anchor of the GWS website, featured on the site’s home page. ruef and the GWS marketing leadership team have a plan to create more videos covering GWS’ additional services and case studies.
